Description
The Shelby GT500 strut tower brace designed by Ford Racing is engineered to reduce the strut tower flex of your Shelby GT500. The strut tower brace increases the steering response and sharpens the turning of your Shelby GT500. The Shelby GT500 strut tower brace will fit under the stock hood and requires no additional modifications. Ford Racing's OEM engineering and quality standards ensure that the Shelby GT500 strut tower brace fits and performs well.
- Fits 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 (clears fine but touches the intake tube and hood padding on the 2011-2014 GT500)
- Per Michel Boos at www.svtperformance.com: The picture above of the strut tower brace installed is on a 2013 GT500. 2013-2014 GT500 customers will want to either install a plastic split loom around the fuel line crossover or re-position the crossover by taking the zip ties off on both ends, rotating the
fuel line forward and then attaching new zip ties on both ends. This will reposition the fuel line crossover about a 1/4 inch in front of the strut tower brace.
- We recommend installing our Air Resonator Delete Tube p/n: M-9B659-MSVT which will clear this strut tower brace without rubbing. The OEM air resonator tube will touch the bottom of the strut tower brace.
- Standard in 2010 Shelby GT500 Coupe Handling Pack M-FR3-MSVT
- Parallel beam design for added rigidity
- Grey/Silver powder-coated brace
- Stainless steel Ford Racing emblem
- Does not fit 2007-2009 Shelby GT500. See M-20201-C for 2007-2009.
