If you are looking to upgrade your stock coil, or want to compliment the performance of your MSD Blaster Ignition, MSD 5, 6 or 7, the Blaster Coil line is the right choice. All of the Blaster Coils are designed for improved spark output! Special 100:1 windings are used to provide maximum build-up of voltage! These windings are held secure and kept cool in an oil filled metal canister. The tower assembly is molded of durable alkyd material due to its high dielectric characteristics while wide spaced brass primary terminals prevent the possibility of spark. There are several versions of the Blaster Coil available. All of them have the same internal specifications, but have different housings or components. Each Blaster Coil can be used with a stock ignition, Blaster Ignition, MSD 5, 6 or 7 Ignition Control. Most late model vehicles with electronic ignitions do not require a ballast resistor, check your ignition and manufacturers specifications to determine if a ballast is required in your application.

The MSD 6AL Ignition Control set the standards that other ignitions strive to reach. In fact, youll find ignitions from other companies that carry the 6AL name (and in some cases, the same part number). For 2011, the bar has been raised even higher as we introduce the all new Digital 6AL Ignition Control!
MSD started with a clean slate and drew up plans for an all new housing. We kept the same footprint as the traditional 6AL but lowered the profile for a sleek look. The wiring is all routed out one end of the unit through a sealed and locking connector. This eases installation and keeps your wiring looking neat and clean. The rev limiter was moved right on top of the housing for easy access to the two rotary dials to set the limit in 100 rpm increments.
Inside the Digital 6AL youll find a microprocessor that monitors and controls every firing and rev limit. The circuits are updated with efficient components that help the ignition produce more power while drawing less current! In fact, the new Digital 6AL delivers over 530 volts to the coil with up to 135mJ of spark energy for every firing! Increased output combined with MSDs proven multiple spark series is a win-win situation!
The new Digital 6AL are supplied with the wiring harness and the components youll need for installation. The 6AL is also supplied with vibration mounts. Both ignitions are compatible on 4, 6 or 8-cylinder engines with 12-volt, negative ground electrical systems. Theyll accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers and magnetic pickups.

All you need to do is drop it in the engine, connect three wires and fire the engine. Each distributor features an ignition module that produces a powerful inductive spark to improve combustion of the fuel mixture resulting in quick starts, smooth idle and increased performance. The billet aluminum housings of these distributors are 5/8 smaller in diameter to accommodate induction setups and tight engine compartments. A maintenance-free magnetic pick-up is responsible for triggering the high voltage sparks while a sealed ball bearing guides an oversized shaft. Beneath the bolt down cap and MSD Race Rotor youll find MSDs accurate mechanical advance assembly. This installation setup does not include provisions for: Cruise Control, ABS, Electronic Traction Control, or OEM Anti-Theft Systems. If doing a Coyote motor swap into a production vehicle chassis for racing only with these systems, then these various systems will be turned off.

Designed to run the Gen 2 Mustang GT 5.0L 4 Valve 435HP crate engine and salvage motors pulled out of 2015+ Mustang GT Automatic Transmission Cars.
Will also work on the Gen 2 Aluminator M-6007-A50SCA and M-6007-A52XS crate engines with aftermarket custom software tuning and Mustang GT engine harness from an automatic transmission car.
Will NOT work on 5.0L motors sourced from the F-150.
CONTROLS THE 6R80 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Other transmission setups besides the 6R80 6 speed automatic (3 speed, 4 speed, 5 speed, 10 speed etc) will need to use the engine only control pack part number M-6017-504V and an aftermarket standalone transmission controller for that respective transmission.

Take the complexity and mystery out of wiring the lastest 2018+ 5.0L 4V 460HP Mustang GT Coyote engine in your project vehicle!
Designed to run 2018-2020 5.0L Mustang GT Coyote (Gen 3) engines, with a manual transmission or an automatic transmission with a separate standalone transmission controller (not included). Bascially, this control pack will only control the engine regardless of the type of transmission installed with the motor.
WILL NOT RUN an F150 coyote engine
Will also work on the Ford Performance Gen 3 Aluminator crate engine p/n M-6007-A50NAB and M-6007-A50SCB. When using it with the 9.5:1 crate engine p/n M-6007-A50SCB, aftermarket custom software tuning is required. The lower compression ratio of that motor is different and requires a custom tune to run properly.
Will NOT work on 5.0L coyote motors sourced from the F-150.
