Carroll Shelby and Ford Racing created incredible improvements to the 2007-2009 GT500 and they have used that experience to introduce a new line of parts for the 2010 GT500.
The
collaboration between Shelby and Ford Racing for the highly sought after Shelby GT500KR gave birth to more power and better total performance. The 2010 Shelby GT500 takes some of those queues from the GT500KR and now builds 540 horsepower in
its 5.4-liter supercharged V-8.
But don't let this understated evolution fool you. Ford Racing has some interesting enhancements in its bag of tricks left to keep your 2010 Shelby ahead of the competition. Ford Racing has released a new turn-key 725+HP Whipple Supercharger package, performance suspension parts, and has opened up its catalog to much of its race bred Cobra Jet parts bin. With these new parts additions, you will be easily ahead of any Camaro SS (supercharged or not) and Dodge Challenger. Don't experiment with the "other guys" parts and tuning. Ford Racing has done their homework to keep you ahead of the pack.
